Getting started with Nexnote
Everything you need to know to get the most out of your AI meeting notes.
Getting Started
- Download Nexnote from Google Play and create your account.
- Sign in with your Google account or email to get started.
- Your first meeting is just a tap away — hit the record button to begin.
Recording a Meeting
- Tap the record button on the home screen to start capturing your meeting.
- Choose your transcription language before recording — Nexnote supports multiple languages.
- You can add a meeting title and description before or after recording.
- The app continues recording in the background, so you can use other apps.
Transcription & AI Notes
- After recording, Nexnote automatically sends your audio for AI transcription.
- Transcriptions are processed in the cloud using Google Vertex AI.
- Summaries are generated at multiple detail levels depending on your plan: brief, standard, and detailed.
- AI results start in draft mode — review and confirm them to finalize.
Managing Meetings
- Use the search bar to find meetings by title, content, or participants.
- Star important meetings to access them quickly from your favorites.
- Filter meetings by date range or sort by date, title, or duration.
- Use multi-select mode to perform bulk actions on multiple meetings.
Action Items
- Nexnote automatically extracts action items from your meeting transcripts.
- Each action item can have an assignee, due date, and priority level.
- Track action items across all your meetings from the action items dashboard.
- Mark items as complete, edit details, or create new ones manually.
Cloud Sync
- Cloud sync keeps your meetings available across all your devices (Pro and above).
- Meetings recorded offline are automatically synced when you reconnect.
- Sync happens in the background — you don't need to do anything.
- All data is stored securely in EU data centers.
Settings
- Audio quality: choose between standard and high quality recording.
- Theme: switch between light, dark, or system-default appearance.
- App language: set the interface language independently of transcription language.
- Transcription language: set your default transcription language.
- Analytics: opt in or out of anonymous usage analytics.
